The End Draws Near

The defense rested its case yesterday afternoon, and the fast approaching end to the criminal trial of Joseph Nacchio suddenly became a reality.  There is certainly a buzz in the air today, as we all anxiously await the closing arguments.  This morning, for the most part, was dedicated to discussion of the jury instructions.  (we will post the official court instructions to the jury as they become available on the DU Corporate Governance website)

The word around the courthouse is that the jury is due back in court at 1:00 PM to hear testimony from Weinstein regarding Exhibit A-1031, and then the closing arguments are scheduled to begin this afternoon.
