The Trials of Daniel Fischel

The Defense is seeking to have Daniel Fischel, the former dean of the University of Chicago Law School, testify that "the economic evidence is not consistent with the Governent's allegation that Mr. Nacchio's stock sales during the first two quarters of 2001 . . . were made on the basis of material nonpublic information."  The Government has moved to exclude his testimony.  The summary of the testimony and the Government's motion will be on the DU Corporate Governance web site sometime this morning.
