Amending Sarbanes Oxley

The call for changes in SOX continue, with most wanting the provisions reduced in scope or eliminated.  In fact, provisions in SOX ought to be amended, but they should be to strengthen rather than weaken.  The post below from Professor O'Brien at the Daniels School of Business, University of Denver, points out more of the weaknesses in the whistleblowing provisions in contained in SOX.  Perhaps it is time for a legislative fix.
