Guest Commentator: SOX and Whistleblowing

Among the many advantages of SOX (see the post on the top 10 benefits emanating from SOX), one of them has been the whistleblower protections. Below we have our first guest post, Richard Moberly, Assistant Professor, University of Nebraska College of Law. He writes today and tomorrow, with the post tomorrow examining the question of whether in fact these provisions have reduced the incidence of fraud.  In addition to the post below, he has written a thorough and thoughtful piece on the whistleblower protections and it can be found here

We encourage anyone who wants to write on the areas of interest to this Blog either as a guest or as a regular contributor to contact us.
